At Yew Tree Vets our professional team of vets and nurses care passionately about animals and treat every patient as a sentient being. Every member of our team is hand selected for their compassion and ability to go above and beyond for our clients. They have the skills to provide a timely diagnosis and first-class veterinary treatment.

DAVID

David graduated from the Royal Veterinary College, London, in 1980. David enjoys all aspects of general practice and has a special interest in dermatology, dentistry, laparoscopy and acupuncture. Outside of work he is a keen photographer and spends many happy hours walking in the Surrey Hills with his Golden retriever, Flori- his four-legged companion.

Katherine

Katherine has been with Yew Tree since 2009, she started as a trainee nurse and has progressed to the head nurse position since 2013.

Katherine enjoys training the student nurses and engaging with the clients and their pets.

In her spare time Katherine competes her horse Ginger in dressage and her dog Lily in working gun dog tests.

RVN SQP

Catherine

Catherine joined Yew Tree in July 2016 after obtaining a degree in Animal Behaviour from the university of Chester

She has gained her SQP qualification and then commenced her veterinary nurse training in April 2017.

Catherine loves all aspects of being a nurse, but mainly enjoys providing high quality care for the in patients.

Catherine enjoys spending time with her 1 year old son Harry and rescue cat Marmaduke

Alice

Alice is a Student Veterinary Nurse who has worked at Yew Tree since 2018.

She has undertaken an Animal Management and Science Course at Merrist Wood College, whilst volunteering at Wild Life Aid

In her spare time she enjoys socialising with friends and walking her dog Ernie

Rebekah

Rebekah has a degree in Animal Behaviour, she is now training to be a Qualified Veterinary Nurse.

In her spare time she is a scuba diver instructor.

She also owns a Minatare Schnauzer called Stewie

Andrea

Andrea is Yew Tree’s newest member of staff.

She has previously worked in hospitality and retail, her wealth of knowledge and experience in customer service has allowed her to fulfil her passion of working in animal care.

Outside of work she enjoys walking, reading, going to the theatre and spending time with her cat Ozzy.
